most manufactures have a "hold-back", "kick-back", "reserve" type of program for their dealer body. what this means is...cost is NOT really cost...its lower! believe me...if a dealer is gonna tell ya their selling cars at $150.00 over invoice...their screwing with ya. Their probably getting a gee wiz($1000) back from the manufacturer for selling the car. So in this case...they've made $1150.00 off of you! Dealers cant survive selling cars at $150-300 over invoice. Its costs dealers a fortune to pay their floor planning and advertising costs alone it happens...ALL the manufacturers have this type of internal incentive. Sometimes desparate dealers will pass on this incentive to the customer to move a stale product. im in the car business...i know....heehee
